Please visit The Magic Onions for my post on newborn parenting, The Waldorf Baby....
Writing this essay was a lovely experience for me...mostly, it made me feel grateful that I have "Discovered Waldorf" so early on in my son's life...
In other news, we have decided to work on growing our little family even more.....I am so enamored by the thought of another baby. The little wool and silk infant pilot's cap seems to beckon me from a shelf in W's room.....I pick it up and smell it often; getting lost in the soft scent...Time will surely tell, but we are ready and trying!
What beautiful photos. You have a lovely family; congrats on deciding to share your family love with another little one. I'll be sure to pop over to MO. Peace, Angela

Lovely post, dear friend. Hopefully we will embark on the journey of #2 together!!
ReplyDeleteOh! Dear Rebecca, what exciting news! I loved having my children close together (well 2 of them are close in age)and they are best friends! I am still breastfeeding my baby, and that tends to really slow down my fertility, but we are hoping that we'll get pregnant soon as well.
ReplyDeleteI thought your post over at Magic Onions was very insightful... it's wonderful that you have learned so much so early on in your motherhood. It took some of us a while (and a child or two) to bring a natural way of life to our family!ahem.
Here's to hoping we hear exciting news from your family soon!!!

Yay!! Sending baby dust your way!!!
ReplyDeleteI, too, feel blessed for finding Waldorf so early on. My oldest was about 5 months old when I discovered it but the funny thing was that we were pretty much already living it <3 Fate, I tell ya! <3

ReplyDeleteYour essay was beautiful and well written! Thanks so much..and best of wishes with your upcoming baby growing inside your womb.
ReplyDeleteOh, a sweet time for you and your family. I am so happy to have discovered Waldorf as a teacher before I met my husband. Steiner's philosophies have been an inspiration and a wealth of information for me. Your article on the other blog is terrific! One thing I really learned with my second child was to follow her cues on sitting up. I let her be in the horizontal position until she could pretty much hold herself up in the sitting position. I think Karl Konig wrote about this. Anyhow, a well done article. I wish you so much health and happiness as you embark on this second journey. May peace be with your family!
