29 years young!!

Here's hoping all of you had a cozy Thanksgiving....
We were lucky enough to have a beautiful snowfall for the first half of the day!

Today is my 29th birthday, and I am not at all hesitant to put my age out there! It feels great!
..especially when you have a beautiful birthday cake; homemade by mom!

my birthday cake...layers of pumpkin ice cream, raspberry sorbet, vanilla ice cream, sponge cake, and chocolate ganache. I have no clue how she did it!
I remember myself 10 years ago today...19 years old. A nervous freshman in college; lost in peer pressure, unfamiliar faces, and uncertainty. 20 years ago today...9 years old, just entering the second phase in my life....I can begin to understand my mother's remark, "it feels like a lifetime ago" when I recall these experiences. So much has changed. And so have I.
